Trident's WAVE Swim Team is perfect for newer swimmers, ages 10-18, who are interested in joining a swim team. Swimmers are led by highly experienced, professional coaches who will develop technique, endurance, performance and an ever-growing love of what our sport contributes to our lives.

 

Trident WAVE is a great entry point for swimmers new to our sport, or athletes needing to develop technique and endurance en route towards earning a roster position on our competitive team. This program is also ideal for young people who may have several activities and other sports during the school year, but who really want to participate on a swim team.  Coaches strive to improve every swimmer's performance in every swim practice, always with the goal of advancing swimmers as far as they'd like to go in our sport, including advancement to our more advanced competitive team.  WAVE Rec Team swimmers are registered with USA-Swimming and will compete at sanctioned meets year-round.

 

Graduates of Blue Wave 4, who are 10 and over, are eligible. Swim instructors and coaches will assist in determining each swimmer's preparedness for the team.

Swimmer evaluations are available the last week of each month. If interested, please fill out our NEW SWIMMER INQUIRY form, and our coaching staff will be in touch!

Coaches offer swimmer evaluations for any swimmer who can swim the length of the pool freestyle and backstroke. All swimmer evaluations will provide coach's best judgement of initial placement on our team program, or, if needed, some time spent in the upper levels of our swim school. There's a place for every swimmer to start, and we all share the same goal of advancing swimmers as well and as quickly as possible!
