Coach Patrick Callan is a U.S. Olympian, National Champion, and NCAA All-American. He is the only swimmer to have represented an Oklahoma swim club at the Olympic Games. He has most recently  coached at Auburn University, where he focused on video and data analysis while working with some of the highest-level athletes in the sport.

Reserve Private Coaching sessions with Patrick for a personalized coaching experience. With Private Coaching, each athlete can target exactly what they need to improve their technique and overall performance. While normal practice sessions are productive, they are not the optimal setting for in-depth, one-on-one coaching. Private sessions allow for specific technical coaching focused on each athlete's opportunities to swim faster.

Video Analysis ($195)

This will be a two-part analysis. The first step will consist of gathering above and underwater video and initial stroke feedback, which will last between 30-60 minutes. After the video session, the coach will review all video and then schedule the athlete's follow-up session. This follow-up will consist of video feedback and skill implementation.

A swimmer may choose to focus on Long Axis (Freestyle & Backstroke), Short Axis (Butterfly & Breaststroke) or Starts, Turns, and Underwater Kick. Video will be taken from various angles, both above and below water. This will allow the coach to see and analyze errors that the athlete is making with their technique.

Video Analysis 3-Session Package ($495)

For the swimmer that would like all of their strokes, as well as starts and turns, analyzed, this package will provide the athlete with the opportunity to receive video analysis of every area of their swimming. Each session will have a video segment, and then a follow-up segment.

Velocity Meter Analysis ($495)  (Availability begins June 16)

The "latest and greatest" in high-tech removes any guesswork in showing a a swimmer how they can  go faster! This system will analyze a swimmers speed and acceleration every 0.02 seconds of their stroke cycle. We can utilize the velocity meter to analyze underwater dolphin kicks, the four competitive strokes and racing starts. The first step in the analysis is collecting speed/acceleration data and underwater video. A swimmer may choose 2 strokes, or 1 stroke and underwater dolphin kicks to be recorded and analyzed by both Coach Patrick and Coach Sean.

The data/video collection phase goes relatively quick, usually completed in 30 minutes. The analysis is the major portion. After this session, Coaches will analyze the swimmer's stroke in a process that typically takes 4-5 hours (swimmer need not be present for this phase).

Once a swimmer's highest opportunities to gain speed are determined and prioritized, coaches will meet with the swimmer once again for a review/analysis session. Swimmers will also receive copies of their video and velocity information.

The apparatus was built in Italy, and there are very few of these systems in the United States. (Reference Race Club's service with this system costs $1,500. (RaceClub link. They do a great job with this service in California, but it is expensive!)
